An easy way to make a week worth's of delicious cold brew coffee
- 1 cup ground coffee your favorite brand and or flavor
- 5 cups cold water
-
In large glass container of choice add 1 cup ground coffee. Add 5 cups cold (filtered if possible) water. Mix well
-
Chill in fridge for 12-24 hours.
-
Strain coffee through coffee filter and mesh strainer into another container. You may have to pour slowly a cup at a time so the coffee does not overflow the filter. Let sit until all liquid is drained through.
-
You can rinse out original container and pour strained coffee back into original container to store in fridge. Keeps up to 5 days in fridge.
-
My favorite coffee to use is Highlander Grog by Alakef roasters. My favorite way to enjoy is over ice with cream.

- If you don’t have a strainer to use you can use 3 – 4 regular coffee filters. You fill the coffee filter with ground coffee and create a bundle by securing it with a rubber binder. This way you do not have to strain it afterwards! Depending on the strength of the coffee you would want to leave the bundles in for 12-24 hours. The best part is that you can always take a sip of the coffee to determine whether it is strong enough, and if not just return it to the fridge to sit for longer.
