Berry Fruit Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar(1/2 -3.4 cup) more or less depending on sweetness of your fruit
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 5 cups fruit (fresh or frozen) I used blackberries, strawberries, and raspberries
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In large microwave safe bowl, combine fruit, white sugar and corn starch.  Mix well. Dump into greased 10 inch round or square pan.

  2. in same bowl melt butter in microwave.  Add brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and oatmeal.  Mix well until a coarse crumble forms.

  3. Sprinkle over fruit until covered.  Do not worry if there is a few open spots.  

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until bubbly and fruit is tender.  Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
