Berry Fruit Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. In sauce pan add berries, sugar, and 1/4 cup water.
  2. Cook over medium heat until berries are soft
  3. Bring mixture to a simmer.
  4. Gradually add corn starch/water mixture, about 1 tablespoon at a time, while continually stirring until mixture is thick like pudding. Mixture will continue to thicken as it cools.
  5. Enjoy over cake such as white, yellow or angel food, or as a topping for yogurt or ice cream.
  6. Mixture will keep at least a week in refridgerator
