Buffalo Brussel Sprouts

A buffalo sauce based appetizer that is actually healthy!!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh brussel sprouts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup buffalo sauce use your favorite brand
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Blue cheese crumbles optional
  • Blue cheese salad dressing optional
  • ranch salad dressing optional
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut off bottom edge of sprouts.  Cut sprouts in half.  Place sprouts in bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and mix to coat.  

  2. Place brussel sprouts cut side down in a stone wear baking dish or cast iron pan.  Bake at 425 for 25 minutes. Place under broiler for 3-5 minutes to crisp up

  3. Mix together buffalo sauce and honey.  Remove brussel sprouts from oven.  Paint or drizzle buffalo and honey mixture over brussel sprouts toss in pan to coat.  Return to broiler for 5 minutes. Watch carefully so they do not burn. Serve with blue cheese crumbles and your choice of dipping sauce.
